of April. Well, it's been awhile. Remember Instacube, a purpose-built digital

screen come up short of funding and production opportunities last summer. These
questions set the production back for almost a year, but come April 5, it will
all pay off - finally shipping the first units.
“We‘ve hit all hardware and manufacturing milestones and
have placed the order for our first mass production run of the Instacube. Our
factory is in the process of placing orders for all of the components, parts,
and raw materials for this order and we have confirmed that factory production
will begin in mid-March.
We will begin to fulfill Backer’s orders immediately after
the factory delivers product to us and plan to drop-ship Instacubes directly to
backers from our China fulfillment partner. That means that if you receive a
package from China that you hadn’t expected, please accept delivery, it might
be your Instacube!”
Instacube developers
used more productively at the time: the final hardware has been redesigned to
include speakers (Instagram Video support). Future updates will no painted with
the ability to stream content from Facebook, grapes, Flickr and other services
as well. Kickstarter supporters, who chose white or classic models should get
their units over the next few months, but the team said the additional styles will
not available until no production hits full steam.
