CloudLock start a new encryption product easier to service - as-a -Service and
cloud platforms to protect sensitive data called CloudLock Selective encryption
product comes just a few weeks after
CloudLock announced that it has raised $16.5 million series C financing led by
Bessemer Venture Partners, bringing the total funding to $28.2 million. This
will be its public debut at next week's RSA Conference 2014 San Francisco.
Cloud traffic will
reach about 7.7 zettabytes , or two -thirds of global data center traffic in
total, by 2017. SaaS and Cloud platforms, rapid growth also poses a significant
security challenge for some of the types of information to protect specific
ways to meet compliance with laws and regulations. This data includes personal data,
credit card data, medical records protected by HIPAA privacy law and
intellectual property.
