company BlackBerry will deliver free call via its BB Messenger within a month
after the update which also allows users to browse and create Blackberry
Messenger (BBM) channels, change the content and geographical location on run –
run environment.
Krishnadeep Baruah,
Senior Director, Marketing Asia Pacific BlackBerry told ET that the global app
update will happen within a few weeks, which will directly compete with BBM
apps, like Viber, Line and WhatsApp, which allows users to make free calls and send
audio conversations.
The Canadian company,
which was launched BBM voice BB 10 users last year, will make free calls over
the feature is available for android, iPhone and BlackBerry OS 5 top
smartphones. Approximately 100 million people around the world use BBM via OS
platforms.
