Apple announced today that it is expanding its iTunes Festival first time in the United States. The iTunes Festival is held each year in London, Where more than 400 artists performed with more than 430,000 fans since it began in 2007.

more than 430,000 fans since it began in 2007. Five Shows at Austin City Limits
Live Moody Theater event in Austin, Texas will be held from March 11 to 15th the
show will be like the movie and music-centric South by Southwest (SXSW) in
Austin Festivals to be held from 7 to 16 March.
Performances will be available on demand or live stream via iTunes,
Apple TV or iTunes Festival app for iOS devices.
“The iTunes Festival in
London has become an incredible way for Apple to share its love of music with
our customers,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet
Software and Services. “We're excited about the incredible lineup of artists performing
and SXSW is the perfect place to debut the first iTunes Festival in the US.”
