Taiwanese smartphone
manufacturer has announced that its Q1 sales prospects are between NT $ 34
billion ($ 1.12 billion) and NT $ 36 billion (U.S. $ 1.18), in a press release
Monday. That's below the 39.3 billion NT $ (1.29 billion U.S. dollars) average,
according to Bloomberg surveys of analysts.
However, HTC is also
expected gross profit is 21.75 percent above analysts' estimates, 19.5 percent,
and 17.8 percent in Q4 patper improvement.
Smartphone maker has
been preparing for a continued drop in revenue in recent quarters, and the mission
was to push the costs and spend more efficiently.
