SingTel, Asia's
leading communications group, in cooperation with Ericsson, and Samsung is set
to introduce new era in mobile voice communications and voice over LTE launch (
volts ) for Singapore in the coming months. Powered by Ericsson's state -of
-the -art solution volts, the service will allow customers to enjoy the
conversations that are much clearer than traditional voice services. Volt
offers wider sound frequencies, so a richer and truer -to-life sound with a
significant reduction in background noise.

SingTel is
volt service of its kind to be installed in the single radio voice call
continuity (SRVCC) capabilities. It automatically switches to the ongoing calls
without interruption and 3G networks if users lose their connection to the 4G
network.

SingTel will work with
Samsung to install volt compatible smartphones range in Singapore, for example,
another long -awaited Galaxy S device. Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 will
also receive a firmware update in the coming months to support the service.
