Google Android is ready to make an impact in other important industries that’s automobiles. After rumors that the search giant has been working with Audi to make its operating system open source in their cars, the company confirmed today that it will collaborate with the five companies in the automotive and technology (hopefully more in the future) to form the Open Alliance Automotive. Together with Audi, Google will be joined by General Motors, Hyundai, Honda and chip maker Nvidia, which all work to Android from the car years. Coalition aims to create a common platform that promotes innovation and turn safer and more intuitive for everyone. Apple and Nokia have been pushing hard to bring your car software.
