Twitter has acquired more
than 900 patents from IBM, and the two companies inked a wide range of cross
-licensing deal to head off potential intellectual property spat.
According to Twitter,

property issue with IBM. The deal also heads the script.
IBM has a broad
portfolio of patents and licenses intellectual property often. IBM had the most
U.S. patents in 2013 and has held for decades that crown. Big Blue Spend
Annually about 6 percent of revenue to research and development.
